Copenhagen-Trip
We went to Copenhagen from Sunday to Monday and stayed in a quite nice 5*Design-Hostel located in the centre of Copenhagen which meant that all important sights were within walking distance and we didn't have to use public transport. Fabulous. On Sunday the weather still was quite rainy and uncomfortable, but - tata! - on Monday we were so lucky because we had bright sunshine! It's always surprising how that changes the look of a city. Sunday we visited the famous Tivoli Park - an amusement park located in the city. It included a Christmas Market . To be honest, the whole park is rather expensive and trashy than nice. But at least we visited this place which every travel guide recommends. In the evening we listened to good Livemusic in a pub, since the nightlife of Copenhagen was dead - it was Sunday night unfortunately. Monday Caroline started her way back home to Germany and we decided to walk through the town and explore the city by trying to find all the sights - old castles, churches, parks and sculptures, e.g. "The Small Mermaid". Later that day, when it became more and more chilly and cold - my feet were already like icecubes - we decided to warm up by visiting some stores and malls. My conclusion of the trip: Copenhagen is a wonderful city and the trip was a great way to spend some last days together before going back home. Jana and Daniel left Växjö today, Patrick will tomorrow. How sad is that. Even on my corridor we already celebrated a Christmas&Goodbye-Party yesterday. Actually, I don't wanna leave this beautiful Swedish place.
